People do things and make mistakes, from little to ones that hang over our heads like a storm cloud, and no matter how you punish yourself, finish a pack of cigarettes in one sitting, you can’t seem to find a reason why you’ve made them. You spend hours or days, thinking of ways to fix the situation or make things better, but there’s nothing you can do. All you have is a very sincere apology from your heart, sealed with tears and a lesson learned.
‘Mistakes are meant to guide us, not define us’
before it fails
before the fruit spoils
before the eyelids close
or the glass stem slips
from the fingers
she likes to run all over
A jellyfish is someone who floats by and draws you in with their beauty, then stings you with rejection.
Staring at myself in the mirror
as i look closer
I see the moonlight bent in my retinas
I hear the ocean everytime i blink
I see traces of stardust from someone’s fingertips on my cheeks
My hands are frozen but my heart is warm, you would melt into it
I am a book with no last page, infinite.
I am a solar eclipse, light and dark that have met in the middle.
I am perfect in a parallel universe
But theres something that defies science and ruins it for me.
I’m pretty sure you’re gone
it’s just as well,
we never would have
there’s too much of
a gap in personality and
that no amount of
and good intentions
could build a bridge
I hate how you take
your shitty unimportant job
I bought 8 pieces of dim sum yesterday. They were gigantic but not good. I ate 3 more anyway. Thought to myself, this is ridiculous, why am i even still eating this.
It’s like dealing with the world sometimes. You know it can be absurd, and futile, but you don’t know why you love it anyway. Happiness depends on how you perceive life. It’s all up to you how to make yourself smile everyday.
Creating spaces in between us
Like shadows in the dark
Leaving untraceable footprints
Behind closed doors
And broken windows
Only memories of sweet embraces
And wet kisses
Tomorrow is a new beginning of infinite connections
